Hello!
Similar to my previous post, the subject at hand is one of my favourite TV shows. Only this time, the amount of lies bring told are being swapped for magic there is in Maine!
With Once Upon a Time quickly increasing in popularity, its no surprise the amount of hype that has built up around the two hour series 4 finale, myself being a large part of it. However, being a UK resident, I have to wait until Wednesday to watch it on Netflix! Although this means I will have to avoid practically all social media in case of spoilers, it should free me up plenty of time to finish All I Know Now by Carrie Hope Fletcher, which I will hopefully review.
Anyway, back to OUAT.
With series 4 ending, a lot of speculation has arisen about whether the show will continue. Finally, we have been given confirmation! Series 5 is happening, and very soon! Along with Adam Horowitz's (one of the writers) tweets, he posted a promo photo, which I will add below.
We've also been told that the sneek peak of the next series will be a lot more subtle than the one in series 3, with only a small hint. Could this photo be part of it?
After pondering on what appear to be black ink which makes up the poster, I can only relate it to Ursula- who left with her father- or Hades, God of the Underworld for Hercules. Following this thought, I then began to imagine what part the other characters from this world would play.
So, here is my (loose) theory on Henry's fairytale ego:
If the black ink is on fact for Hades, then it may well be fire instead, like his 'hair'. But if so, why would he suddenly appear by himself? Surely he would have a reason?
With the synopsis of Operation Mongoose Part 1/2 stating that Henry has to restore normality to his family, perhaps this will lead to a newfound heroism or power within him. With this and the previous information we know about Henry, does he remind you of anyone? Child who was adopted by someone who wanted to stop him from using his abilities (I.e. his ability to see peoples potential/ their alter ego), had to grow up away from the land he belonged, someone who can "never come home" (he couldn't return to the Enchanted Forest through undoing the curse)? Sound familiar? That's because its the same story outline that made Hercules!
If fixing this Heroes and Villains mix up does unlock some power of his, then who else to stop it than Hades, a man who wants him to be normal?
Again, this is only a theory, but personally I would love if this did happen. Let me know your theories if you have any, because once the finale's over I will need something to crave my OUAT needs.
Welcome to my Paper Life.
